Inner Spring Mattresses

Our inner spring mattresses use two basic styles of inner springs--there is the bonnell coil unit and the pocketed coil unit.  A bonnell coil unit is a spring unit that provides good even support through out the mattress core. Bonnell units come in a variety of coil counts and vary according to the type of mattress and the size. Each spring is tied together by helicals and the whole unit is surrounded by a border rod for edge support. A pocketed coil unit means that each spring is individually covered in cloth pockets that are vertically sewn together.  This type of unit means more individualized support and less motion when sleeping with a partner.
